Who Do You Trust?

2 Timothy 1 NLT – Greetings from Paul – This letter is – Bible Gateway

…for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him[a] until the day of his return.

It’s often hard to find someone you can trust. Today I’m celebrating 20 years marriage with my wife. That’s not common any more.

Too often trust is broken by the husband or wife in the marriage resulting in separation or divorce. We want to be able to trust friends, family, employers, government but eventually they all fail us.

But the one person we can trust today, and every day, is God. He never leaves us, He is always watching over us and He hears us when we call. If you haven’t called out to God in a while, maybe now is a good time. He is always sitting by the “phone”.

And if you’ve never called out…maybe today is your day to make a friend you can truly trust the rest of your life.

Peace
