Everyone Has a Dream

by Robert Rizzo | Twitter, Facebook,

Lately I have realized how many people walk around every day going through the motions of life without a dream. They are dissatified but they don’t know why.  There is a verse in the Bible where a prophet speaking on God’s behalf says, ” without a vision my people perish”

Everyone needs a vision. I define a vision as a preferred future outcome. A dream. We all need to dream. But many people have forgotten how to dream. Life, experiences, setbacks and the daily routine have convinced people that “this is as good as it gets.”

Well, I have decided that is not true for me and if you can embrace it, it is not true for you either. We have to fight for our dream. Some of us need to start by reviving our dreams. We have to ask ourselves what is the thing that I once imagined myself doing which now seems so distant, even impossible.

You might ask, “How do I know that it is my dream?”

Dreams are those desires to accomplish something that is impossible in your own limited ability. Starting today you need to go back and find your dream, cultivate it, feed it, develop it. Every day you have to get up and ask yourself what can I do today to get one step closer to making my dream a reality.

Fear is one of the greatest opponents of dreams. You can not allow fear to paralyze you and prevent you from pursuing your dreams. When fear tries to snuff out your dreams, you must do something. Do not stand still. Ask yourself, what is the next step, however small it might be, that you can take to inch closer to your dream.

Pursuing your dream must be a daily endeavor. You have to be intentional. Make a plan and plan to succeed.
